About Me.
My name is Joshua Nicholas, and here is a little bit about me. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, but since June 2021, I have lived in Palm Coast, Florida. Along with living in Palm Coast, I also live in Tampa, Florida, where I attend the University of Tampa. At UT, I am pursuing a dual major in Political Science and Marketing. After graduation, I plan on using the skills I have gained from both courses and experiences I have had to attain a job in the political industry, hopefully as a political campaign strategist or analyst, or in political marketing.

For most of my life, I lived and grew up in the same 17-block neighborhood in a town about 25 miles west from Downtown Chicago.
Palm Coast

After high school, my family and I moved to Palm Coast, Florida, which is in between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine on the east coast of the state.
Tampa

During most of the year, I live in Tampa, Florida, where I attend the University of Tampa. I plan on continuing to live in Tampa or the Tampa Bay Area after I graduate from UT.
My Interests
Politics
Federal, State, and Local
My interest in Politics started a long time ago. I have been active and engaged in the political process of the United States since I was in middle school, where I worked on my first campaign to help get a member of my family elected to our local high school district school board.
Fishing
Saltwater and Freshwater
Ever since I was a little kid, I have always loved fishing. It is pretty much a family tradition at this point. My father taught me, just like how his father taught him, and his father beforehand. Fishing has also given me a deep appreciation for nature, and the planet.
Sports
Track & Field, Soccer, and Volleyball
Since I was a little kid, I have always been active. Previously, I participated in sports like baseball, basketball, and hockey. However, I found my true love of sports in Soccer, Volleyball, and my best sport, Track and Field. I ran track on club and school teams from elementary school until I graduated high school.
Cooking
Traditional to Non-Traditional Foods
I love to cook as well. Since living on my own during school, I’ve found a new home in the kitchen. From grilling hotdogs and burgers on a hot summer day, to cooking a nice steak or fish dinner for date night, I love cooking simple and complex meals. I especially enjoy the thrill of experimenting in the kitchen and trying to cook new things.
History
Ancient, Medieval, and Modern
Another thing I have gained from my family is my love of history. I enjoy learning about ancient history, for example ancient Greece and ancient Rome, as well as medieval history, especially the Crusades. Along with these, I enjoy learning about modern history, specifically World War 2.

Integrity is the cornerstone of any professional’s conduct. It requires that all individuals act with honesty, transparency, and fairness in all aspects of their work. By adhering to this code, I plan to build trust amongst colleagues, clients, and the community.
Accountability
Accountability is essential for maintaining ones trust and credibility. This works hand in hand with Respect and Integrity. If you cannot be respectful or have integrity, you cannot hold yourself accountable.
