Public Works Internship with the City of Palm Coast
Between June and August of 2023, I worked as an intern for the City of Palm Coast in the Public Works Department.
• Led project, presented to City Council, focused upon improving employee satisfaction with the city government including recruiting strategies for future generations of government employees.
• Updated city protocols and procedures in accordance with APWA (American Public Works Association) standards.
`• Assisted with citizen notifications during transfer of waste-collection vendors.
• Led project to develop an environmentally sound program to utilize native and endangered plant species for Public Works deployment.
Order Fulfillment Manager for Culinary Teas LLC
Between May of 2016 and January of 2023, I worked for my family’s business, Culinary Teas LLC. I helped manage the warehouse and shipping of the our products.
• Managed the packing, processing, and shipment of orders to customers.
• Monitored shipment process to ensure seamless delivery of orders.
• Provided customer service activities via phone and email.
• Managed overall workflow including inventory mgmt., priority-setting, troubleshooting, and managing employee scheduling.
